CRTS has been around for a long time. This is our 50th year in business, and we’ve been a Utility dealer and a Peerless dealer from the start. When you’ve been around for that long, you develop a reputation among your customers. 

Our customers come to us because they know that there are at least two things they can expect from CRTS that they won’t find anywhere else — the level of experience and the quality of the service they get.

Unsurpassed Experience 

We have a history of personnel who have been with us for a long time. Our Vice President has been with CRTS for 43 years. One of our salespeople will be celebrating 30 years in June. Our service writer, who just retired last year, was with us for 40 years. We could go on.

The people at CRTS have unparalleled experience, and that’s one of our greatest assets. They know this industry inside and out. That’s important, because we know how to dig deeper into a customer’s unique needs to understand what they’re looking for even better than they do.

  • What will they be doing with the flatbed?
  • What kind of operations do they have?
  • What are the weights of their loads?
  • What areas of the country do they run in?

We’ll drill down to a level that only decades of experience can tell us to go to. 

Many customers don’t know what to look for in a new trailer. But they know they can trust us to make a recommendation that will meet their needs. We know what to ask so we can make the best recommendation for their next trailer purchase.

We also pride ourselves on superior customer service. We do everything in our power to solve the problems of the customers who call in and trust us. We’ve developed that reputation over decades, and people have come to know us for the kind of customer service that you can’t find anywhere else.

The more we understand you and your operations, the better we’ll be able to recommend the trailer that fits you best. We may have ten trailers on the lot, but if none of them fit your needs, we won’t talk about those trailers—we’ll talk about what’s right for you. We’ll advise you on the trailer you need—not the trailer we want to sell.

Our salespeople’s number one goal is to understand the customer’s needs. That’s why we often go out to visit our customers’ locations to look at their operations and understand how they use their trailers. They watch how the trailers are loaded and unloaded, so they can make the best recommendations to help make life easier and more economical for customers.

We’re up front and open about everything involved with the purchase of a trailer. For example, on a new trailer, Federal Excise Tax (FET) is often an expensive surprise. It’s a large tax that we have no control over, but we take time to prepare buyers for it and to explain what it is. We advise customers that any modifications to a new trailer within six months of purchase has to have FET added to it.
