Why CRTS Refuses to Profit from Trailer Shortages

As just about anyone in the trucking industry knows, supply chain bottlenecks and labor shortages are creating a historic shortage of semi-truck trailers. Everything from aluminum and steel shortages to lumber shortages is slowing down production on new trailers and aftermarket components.

For owner-operators and fleet managers, finding a new (or used) trailer is a bit like prospecting for gold.

CRTS Will Treat You Right

While the trucking industry as a whole is feeling the fallout, some trailer dealerships are taking advantage of the situation. You’ve probably heard stories out there about trailer dealerships that raise their prices exorbitantly simply because there’s an opportunity to get away with it. You’ll never find that at CRTS.

crts-50th-anniversary-logoIn the 50 years we’ve been in business, CRTS has had a reputation for treating people fairly, consistently, and with integrity. And we aren’t going to change that just because there’s an opportunity to get away with it. We’ll continue to make an honest profit if we can, but we will never take advantage of a situation by increasing our profit margins unreasonably.

CRTS will never withhold trailers from anyone who needs a trailer in an effort to drive the price up. We aren’t going to do anything that’s unethical or isn’t in the best interest of our customers. It’s as simple as that.

Our company was built on the values of respect, passion, leadership, and excellence — always with unyielding integrity. So we’ll continue to take care of our customers in the best way we know-how, which is what we’ve always done.

Customer Loyalty — and Loyalty to Our Customers

That’s why people keep coming back to CRTS — because they know that they’ll be treated fairly, just as we would want to be treated. That sounds like an old cliche, but in this case, it’s absolutely true.

“I had a very nice experience with CRTS. I purchased a second trailer from them and they offered a great service and good quality trailer. They treat you right.” — Nick I.

“Very professional and they have great interest in helping the customers. Quick service and very knowledgeable about the work they do. Most importantly, they appear very honest, and that matters to me.” — Patrick W

“Returned in 2021: They are still amazing. They were fast, affordable, friendly and just all-around wonderful.” — Deena Y.
